Historical Istanbul

Monday was the day to meet old part of the city known as Byzantium, Constantinople and Istanbul. Our travelers had an opportunity to see exceptional cultural treasure of the country – sultan’s palace Topkapi. They continued to a beautiful mosque of sultan Ahmed, better-known as the Blue Mosque, after which they visited the “sunken palace” Basilica Cistern and walked through the ancient hippodrome from the Roman era. After that, they tested their bargaining skills at the Grand Bazaar, the biggest shopping mall in the world where you can find 5.000 shops that attract over 250.000 visitors every day. They also visited the impressive Spice Bazaar with its remarkable range of colors, smells and tastes. To wrap the day up, they went on a ride on the Bosporus, getting a new perspective on the city. Sounds magical, do you agree?
